We visited Scotland in December of 2019 and stayed in Edinburgh for a few days before taking the train to Glasgow and then taking a day trip drive to the highlands. We stayed at a bed and breakfast in Edinburgh.

After flying into Paris we met up with family and started the long drive to Ameugny, a little village in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region in eastern France. With a population of around 150 it is definitely what I picture when I think of a small village in the countryside surrounded by farm land.

I’ve been to this area in July and in October and would definitely say that October is a better time of year to go.

I absolutely loved this city when I visited in 2018 and would say it is one of my favorite destinations to date. There is a lot to do and getting around without a car is very easy, even for someone who does not speak the language. There are some great places to eat and a lot to see in this incredibly old city.

In March of 2022 my partner Loren and I stayed in Tucson Arizona. Loren had a work conference and asked if I wanted to tag along since the conference was over a weekend. We decided to make the trip a long weekend and I took Friday and Monday off.
